Green Stone Landscaping is seeking an Infrastructure Draftsman with strong civil drafting knowledge and experience preparing technical drawings for infrastructure and utility works. This opportunity is suitable for candidates skilled in AutoCAD who understand construction plans, utility networks, and drawing submissions for consultant approval.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and developing shop drawing packages for roads, stormwater pipelines, seawater lines, and street-lighting cable routes.
Key duties include:
- Preparing utility-crossing shop drawings and coordinating consultant approvals.
- Developing longitudinal profiles showing ground, road, cable-top, and trench-bottom levels.
- Producing road cross-sections, grade sheets, and progressive cross-sections for quantity surveying (QS).
- Preparing non-standard drawings for multi-party approval and final as-built documentation.
- Revising drawings according to client and engineering comments while maintaining revision records.
- Performing calculations to support drawing development and assisting construction teams with technical requirements.
- Managing dry and wet utility drawings, including LV/HV cable ducts associated with WDD, TRA, BNET, and ITS, along with submissions and drawing custody.
Required Skills
Applicants should have excellent AutoCAD 2D and 3D skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to interpret construction plans. Strong civil drafting knowledge, understanding of construction methods, and attention to technical detail are important for this position.
